Description
The Labradoodle is a cross between a Labrador Retriever and a Poodle. They are compact dogs that are athletic and graceful.


Size
Labradoodles come in three sizes; standard, medium, and miniature. Standard are 22-26 inches tall and 45-75 pounds. Medium sized Labradoodles are 18-21 inches tall and 30-60 pounds and Miniature Labradoodles are 14-17 inches and 26-55 pounds.


Coat
They are shaggy and wavy or shaggy and wavy with loose curls.


Color
The coat color of the Labradoodle can be white, off-white, gold, apricot, red, chocolate, silver, and black.


Temperament
The Labradoodle is a happy, friendly, affectionate, playful, and confident. They are also intelligent and good pets and companions.


Care
This mixed breed needs a high-quality diet, exercise, and proper veterinary care.


Exercise
The Labradoodle needs a good amount of exercise. Daily walks or a nice size yard to play is advised.


Training
This breed is intelligent and can be easily trained.


Shedding
Labradoodles are a low to no shed dog.


Barking & Howling
The Labradoodle is an average barker.


Life Expectancy
A well cared for Labradoodle can live 12-15 years.


Health
The best way to determine health risks to a mixed breed dog is to look at the problems the parent breeds may have.
